These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our websites 1voct.com, 1v-oct.com, and our online shop at shop.1voct.com (collectively, the "Site"), operated by 1V-OCT LIMITED (trading as "1V/OCT"), a company incorporated in Hong Kong. By accessing the Site, placing an order, or downloading software updates, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We design, manufacture, and sell electronic music instruments worldwide. "1V/OCT" is a registered trademark of 1V-OCT LIMITED.
1. Orders and Pricing
Placing an order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or reject. Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change or withdrawal at any time without notice. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.
2. Payment
Payments are securely processed via Stripe or PayPal. You are responsible for all charges, including applicable taxes and shipping fees.
3. Shipping and Delivery
We ship worldwide, primarily to the EU and USA. For shipping to other countries, please contact us in advance to confirm availability and regulations. Shipping costs, delivery times, and any import duties/taxes are your responsibility. Risk of loss passes to you upon handover to the carrier.
4. Returns and Refunds
Change of Mind Returns: We accept returns for refund within 7 days of delivery, provided the product is unused, in original condition, and packaging. You are responsible for all shipping costs (to and from Hong Kong). Refunds will be issued to the original payment method minus any fees.
Defective or Faulty Products: If a product is defective, contact us within the warranty period. We will repair or replace it with a new or refurbished unit (at our discretion) under our Lifetime Warranty (see below). You pay shipping to us; we cover validated return shipping.
5. Lifetime Warranty
We provide a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship, for as long as you own the product.
- Covers repair or replacement (new or refurbished) for manufacturing defects under normal use.
- Excludes damage from misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, accidents, normal wear and tear, or improper handling/maintenance.
- To claim: Contact support@1voct.com with proof of purchase. You must ship the product prepaid to our Hong Kong facility. We cover return shipping only if the warranty claim is valid.
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
6. Software and Firmware Updates
We may provide optional software or firmware updates. These are supplied "as is" and installation is entirely at your own risk. Improper installation, interruptions, or failure to follow instructions may cause the device to become inoperable ("bricked"). We are not liable for any damage, loss, or bricking resulting from updates.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, product designs, software, and the "1V/OCT" trademark are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or use them without permission. Products are for personal and commercial use with no restrictions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Hong Kong.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance.
